Now with advanced options that let you simulate ecliptic, equatorial and azimuthal line, or grid (among other things).

Scientific Instrument

Solar System Scope calculations are based on up-to-date orbital parameters published by NASA and let you simulate celestial positions at any given time.

For Everyone

Solar System Scope is well suited for all audiences and ages: It is enjoyed by space enthusiasts, teachers, scientists, but Solar is successfully used even by children of 4+ years of age!

Unique Maps

We are proud to present a very unique set of planetary and moon maps, that let you experience a true-color space as never before.

These accurate maps are based on NASA elevation and imagery data. Colors and shades of the textures are tuned according to true-color photos made by Messenger, Viking, Cassini and New Horizon spacecrafts, and the Hubble Space Telescope.

Basic resolution of these maps is for free – but if you would like the best experience, you can check out the highest quality, which is available with In-App purchase.

Props to the first and only app to freeze up my phone – and it was WORTH it. Lol Granted, I was toying with the solar system timeline often, and for many minutes long, which I’m sure could become a resource hog quickly, given all of the on-the-fly calculations and animations taking place (I had virtually everything set visible). The app is gorgeous, educational, and fantastic. And free? Thank you!

I have a few things to say about this app: First of all, I think it’s wonderful! I am obsessed with all things space. The ads are annoying, but at least they feature some cool products like telescopes, microscopes, etc. At least it’s not those annoying TikTok advertisements and game ads. That’s a plus for me! I think it would be cool if they would include actual pictures of the surfaces of the planets we’ve been able to take photographs of-(continue to next passage)

This app is the most unique and incredible experience I’ve had on a cellular device. It worked beautifully on my Note 10+ .The controls were straight forward. The performance was smooth. And the Rendering was the best I’ve seen for a solar walk app. If you live in just the right time period to explore a solar system in vivid color and detail with accurate rotation it would be a d*** shame to pass it up.

Absolutely amazing. The detail that went into making this is incredible for a phone app. I only hope more continues to be added to it. My favorite is the ability to put whatever date and time you want from any location in the world to see where celestial objects that have an orbit path were at that moment in time. As a suggestion, I would love to see the Hebrew names for the stars/constellations etcetera added as an optional hide/show feature just like the Latin names feature.

Paid version/Galaxy note 8* Fantastic interactive space app to familiarize yourself with our solar system. The kids love it. Great detail, color and conception. Only complaint I have is that the information for each space body is short and leaves me with more questions and hungry for more information. Last thing I want is to leave the app to Google the information. I’ll gladly pay for a more expansive version with more info on each space body, perhaps including images taken from satellites. Otherwise I love it.

A MUST BUY IF YOU LOVE SPACE. The amount of information alone on just the planets and moons is staggering and accurate, but you can also view comets, spacecraft, constellations and much more. You can also change the date to see where everything was at the time. So far my favorite moment was changing the date all the way back to the ’80s and seeing where Voyager 1 and 2 were (they are now in interstellar space some 44 years later). This program is seriously cool!

Could have been better. Yes its good to look at but don’t get that much more when buying the upgrade. Also when I select the show spacecraft setting, the planet Earth disappears completely from view when you tap on ‘explore Earth’ option. I reconfigure settings but still happens. Nice addition to my space app library and has some useful star system layouts but average overall for me.

Loved the app, gives detailed perspective of our solar system and our galaxy. But when it comes to live view of looking at the night sky it doesn’t work the slightest bit! All the directions are completely off from my view point and the screen won’t even stay still long enough for me to examine anything because it’s constantly recalibrating the direction it thinks im viewing from when in fact my phone isn’t moving at all. Wish I could free roam the galaxy and zoom in on more & not just the sun.

I love this app, however, I feel you missed some opportunities for it to be 5 stars (In my opinion) It’d be stellar if the images can be expanded to full screen ie; messier objects, galaxies, comets. Also if you were to include exoplanets would be awesome! Maybe use stock photos & videos (I know there may be copy rights & whatnot to think about). Maybe, be able to track down important objects like landers, rovers, comets, asteroids & probes with info! Everything else is absolutely awesome!

I really like this app however, there is some information missing. Such as, some stars have measurements like sizes and distances from our solar system but that’s pretty much it. You should add life expectancy, discovery information and/or what the titles mean (Super Giant, Red Dwarf, etc.) Other than that, I love the futuristic look to it and the sci-fi feel. Good job.
