Controls need work but it’s a very enticing game. I’d love to see more items and improvements but I’m having issues with selecting whomever I want to move at any given time. It becomes harder to do so at random times causing my characters to die making me rage quit the game. The lack of food is also an issue. Maybe introduce a difficulty system so that the survivability rate can be higher? Time can easily be wasted in vain. If these issues get fixed maybe I’ll play again.

This is a great way to get into dungeon-crawler roguelikes, not having to memorize every single button in favor of simple touch controls. However, it is VERY frustrating and inconsistent when trying to guide multiple party members just one level down. Sometimes multiple people will go down with me, sometimes it’ll switch control to someone else, and other times just the character I’m controlling will go down, even when using the “Follow” and “Instruct” commands. Not a deal-breaker, but annoying.

I actually can’t complain about this game. It’s frustrating and punishing, but never once did I think to myself it was the fault of the game itself. There are so many mechanics and builds to explore and learn, you truly get to experience the dungeon how you choose to play, with no cost at all. When you die, it’s as simple as making another character with different stats and seeing if that one solves your problem. It honestly reminds me of a classic roguelike game on Sega Genesis, but improved!

This game is an adorable little Dungeon Crawl that kind of reminds me of book of monsters but more polished, however there are a couple of nitpicks I have. The first being that a tutorial of some type would be a good idea. The second issue I have is that I can’t delete I created and there are a finite amount of Customs slots. Thirdly, bug fixes. There are a few but they don’t seem game breaking, just annoying. All in all, as far as a mobile game goes it’s one of the better ones out there!

A lot of fun, every time I’ve played this I don’t know what to expect. One time I might just have a straight forward dungeon crawler and and end up being over run by enemies. t Then next time I don’t make it out the first floor before one of my adventurers goes into a rage and kills everyone else, all because he picked up a cursed item. The games simple graphics can be a little annoying but once you get used to it, the games simple mechanics becomes it’s strength.

Hello. I like your game. A bit frustrated though in how many times i’ve made a mistake due to the tapping controls. My thumbs must be too big, and I end up going where i do not intend. Zooming way in every time I want to fight an enemy (to avoid mistskes) is also frusterating. Would you consider adding a directional pad? I like that this game has splitscreen multiplayer. Also a big fan of all the races and classes. Thanks for your hard work into this enjoyable title <3

This is the kind of game that can make a weekend disappear; you have been warned. Loads of replay potential between multiple race/class combinations and random maps. Yes, its hard; you start a new game trying to get farther before you die, not really expecting to win. If you’re looking for a rougelike game try it.

I’ve always wanted to get into Nethack. I’m a fan of Dwarf Fortress and managed to work through the ASCII interface there, but didn’t want to invest the time for something like that again for Nethack. Pathos made it quite easy to play. There is a bit of user experience that can be improved, but overall it is easy to use. Some improvements to be made: * The side swipe/touch to open the system menu (save, quit, etc) is nearly impossible to open * Workbench: – craft display don’t tell you how much resources any particular item will cost nor how much entropy it will produce – scrap doesn’t tell you what materials or nor how much entropy for any given item * Help menu: – This is super helpful for learning about creatures as you go through the game. However getting used to the way things are listed and described is very confusing at first. Often I find myself not wanting to use something because it’s description in help is scary and isn’t clear if I would be the target or something I point it at or what. – There needs to be some whitespace between groups to help readability * No option (that I saw) to prevent resurrecting. Sometimes I want to play a game on permadeath mode, that’s a decision that needs to be made at the beginning of the game, not when you have died.

A QUIET PLACE IN THE DARK (A quiet Place In The Dark)

This is honestly a spectacular game. I have always been fascinated with nethack but needed the more graphical element and this truly delivers. I really hope they continue to add to this game keeping it updated for a long time. It’s simplicity goes perfectly with it’s complexity. It’s a hard game and sometimes it feels like the game itself is out to kill you. But isn’t that like real life? This universe wasn’t built for we fight to survive against a world that is waiting to eat us alive.

Decent, but items should not by identified at death. Further, the big “Trade/Transfer” button on the Trade and Share dialogs imply that time has stopped, so the transfer will be done in a single turn. This is not the case: while that big dialog is covering your screen, you won’t see the monster coming up behind you as you select and deselect items for the trade.
