“Network Signal Info” provides detailed information over the currently used network with accurate signal strength output, whether WiFi (WLAN) or cellular (mobile) connection and is easy to use.
Do you know ? Network Signal Info / Pro are UNIQUE
This type of software is ONLY available on Android smartphones – neither iOS nor Window Phones.

Main Features:
– detailed MOBILE network informations
– accurate signal strength indication
– detailed WiFi informations
– detailed ANDROID System informations
– Widgets for MOBILE- and Wi-Fi network (PRO version with six widgets)
– mobile cell tower location (PRO version with much better online cell tower database)
– Mobile SIGNAL TRACKER (only PRO version with KML-file export for e.g. Google Earth)
– WI-FI SIGNAL record function (only PRO version)

The app has two widgets, one for mobile- and one for WiFi-Signalstrength (free version), Six widgets in the PRO version,,three for mobile- and three for WiFi-Signalstrength.
(If you can’t find widgets, please copy the app to phone memory)

I have put special value on the visualization of the WiFi and mobile signal strength. They are normally only divided in weakly, good and excellent. Graphically in the form of mostly “only” three to five bars on the Mobile Radio and three to five “waves” by a WiFi connection.

In my app I differentiate the signal strength in more bars. This will give you a quick visualized and detailed information about how good the signal strength is really.

In addition to the much more sophisticated graphical representation of the signal strength you will see some more interesting information.

In “Mobile Signal”:
Network operators, Sim operator, phone type, network type, network strength in dbm and ASU, data state, data activity, country code of the mobile phone, device ID, IP address, roaming state …

In “Wi-Fi signal”:
Wi-Fi-Name (SSID), BSSID, MAC address, maximum Wi-Fi speed, IP address, external IP address, net capability, net channel, subnet mask, Gateway IP address, DHCP server address, DNS1 and DNS2 address. …

If you like the app, please give me a positive rating in the market.

The PRO version (compared to the free version) has no ads, a NEW cell tower database with over 80 millions more entries, a NEW MOBILE SIGNAL TRACKER function that generates a KML file for use with Google Earth, more widgets, a MOBILE SIGNAL LOST SERVICE and much more.

Extremely helpful when setting up Network extenders. I live in an area where coverage is spotty on Verizon’s Network. I set up a network extender and it’s impossible to do anything without this app measuring your exact throughput. It gives you all the information you need to deal with the network extender people as well as adjusting your antennas.

Feature packed and no busy layout. Signal strength chart rocks. A Refresh button would be more convenient than the slider menu. Cell Location does not work – incorrectly shows cell location half way across the country (1.204.350 meters). One would expect correct operation of a purchased Pro app, hence the 3 star rating.

Excellent, no-nonsense performance. Tells you what you need to know. Later entry,. Had to uninstall. A battery eater. When in background, sucks battery. Sad to lose its wonderful functionality. Later entry – reinstalled, couldn’t find anything as good. Disciplined myself turn off background operation. When I remember to do this, battery usage is acceptable.

This, at one time, was the best. But the widgets are broken, and even opening the main program does not get correct info, or update the widget. Specifically, it does not find the SSID, the widget often shows no connection, there is no way to force an update of the widget. Other network apps don’t have these issues so the problem is not the phone or OS version. LG-V30 / Andriod v9

Great at what it does! I live in a coach house behind an apartment building (own both). I use it to check my WiFi network’s signal strength in different parts of my property. It’s easy to switch networks to check my network extenders. Accurate, detailed reports, and did I say accurate? The free version does everything I need.

This was a useful app, and still is on occasion. The ads haven’t been a problem because I use root Adaway. But the app stays active in the background, apparently collecting data – and sending it home. In the last two months it has gone through 600MB of my phone’s data allotment even without the ads. And it is a substantial drain on the battery. For now I am leaving it on the phone but only because I use Titanium to freeze it when not in use.

It’s a useful app for signals, it helped me troubleshoot on a public wifi where my laptop wouldn’t get an IP from DHCP and had to determine what to manually set it to. My phone’s battery was draining very fast, an 8 hour work day I was lucky to have 50% left from a full charge when I got home and I don’t even use my phone during work. Android’s battery stats show this app to be searching for a GPS location the entire time it’s on battery. Network Signal Info runs in the background even if you “Exit” from it and it runs automatically when your phone starts even if you never open it. I uninstalled it. Now I get home with more than 90% of my battery left.

This used to be a great app, very disappointing. Over the years it has caused me more and more problems with data usage and instability. I finally got a new phone with Android 10 and was shocked to see all the permissions this thing demands. I went ahead and granted full access just to see if I could get it to work and the widgets were still not functioning, bummer. Uninstalled.

Useless. The widgets constantly freeze and display no information unless delete and replace the widget. Widgets don’t even display accurate data, the signal strength is wildly different from the value displayed in the app. I’ve tried updating and adjusting power settings but nothing works. I suspect they may just be trying to push people into buying the paid version considering the ads, but the app just doesn’t work. Waste of time, uninstalling.

Very nice. Network widget may need some “refinement” (doesn’t always show a reading), but other than that, the information this app gives is everything one would need. Network (s), speeds, where towers are, the strengths of wifi networks, etc, etc, etc. WELL worth the download. You won’t regret it if your into “nerdy” stats such as I.
