I like the clean layout of this, and I subscribed. The precip chart shows mm, though I selected inches. There is a graph icon in the top right. When I click on it, nothing happens, except it displays a moving graph icon, as though it is loading. But nothing loads. What is supposed to happen? This is an almost exact copy of Today Weather. I changed this review to 2 stars, as it has become inaccurate. For example, where I am the temperature is 84, “feels like 82”. This doesn’t make sense with 42% humidity and 63 dewpoint. It should be a feels like temperature of 95. The precipitation probability graph is one good feature of this, other than how it looks.
So far my experience is great, been trying to find a replacement for darksky and am very pleased so far, would it be possible to add the temperature to show in the notification bar instead of condition. Would it also be possible to have the windy raise default to rain instead of wind. Auto dark mode does not seem to be working.
The app overall looks great , the UI is beautifully implemented and it just overall feels very premium the only thing that feels off is the radar screen it looks kind of boxy and it stands out to much, removing the watermarks and rounding the edges should help, I also would prefer to pay upfront for a premium app than have a subscription model, there’s enough of those out there. Hope you keep adding features it’s great so far! Ps. You should have a lifetime subscription for a set price.
Looks very much like Today weather, but with some better looking icons, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, does not offer a one time purchase. Subscription model for a weather app that just pulls data from other sources does not make sense. At least today weather let’s you buy it with a one time purchase. Add a one time payment option and this would be a great app. There are other apps using DarkSky APIs and they are free!
Hey, your latest update from last week, October 30, keeps crashing the app. Please look into this issue. Edit: Thanks for the tip. The workaround is good. Edit2: If possible can you look into another issue in future updates? The placeholder image for the newest widget appears stretched even for a 720p screen width. I don’t know if using svg image would solve that.
Started out fine but after 10 seconds or so the screen went so dim I couldn’t see it and some blue box appeared. Quit instantly and uninstalled. Don’t like surprises.
Almost perfect! Paying for the premium, because this is good work. Only two little requests for the devs: please (1) make the accent color and the text color be two different choices, (2) try to make the icon pack used consistently everywhere (widget, notification, main app). I’ll raise to 5 stars after the improvements 😉
Clean and minimal app, looks great! Only addition I’d like is a dark (not Black) theme. That way it is easier on the eyes vs an all white or all black theme. Dark is the wave (like Android 10 dark theme). Can’t pull down to update.
*Update: The developer contacted me and fixed things quickly. Good communication and it’s working much better now. Got the app because I wanted a good widget on my home page but the date is wrong! It’s off by a day and I don’t see any way to correct that. Fix that and it would be worth more stars, but as is, that’s a big flaw for me.
As the name suggest this weather app is free from ads and have clean UI. Best thing is this is very accurate too. Finally I found replacement of 1 weather which I bought as it’s developer ruined that app it never refreshes by itself so no point in having that app. Click is bold in widget please make it normal.
