The United States Congress is the bicameral legislature of the federal government of the United States, and consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The Congress meets in the Capitol in Washington, D.C. Both senators and representatives are chosen through direct election, though vacancies in the Senate may be filled by a gubernatorial appointment. Members are usually affiliated to the Republican Party or to the Democratic Party, and only rarely to a third party.

Great for anyone that wants to know what’s going on in the US Congress. Very informative, comprehensive and customizable. I would have given 5 stars if it had a better interface. Finding what you need is not very easy and the controls are not very intuitive. Also, the search functionality is very limited. Dispite these shortcomings it’s still the best app I’ve seen for tracking my legislators and the current activities in Congress. Thanks.

At 1st very unimpressed but as I kept using this App my knowledge & “how to” rapidly increased… I’m able to find who voted on what quite easily now. I have become a greatly informed voter! Now I can debate others & backup my words with FACTS. I can research a bill from start to finish, who voted yea/nay on the bill & the status of a bill. It’s a powerful tool & I tell all who’ll listen it’s a must have!!

This is an amazing app that lets you keep track of things in the complicated world of Congress. What it is, is a basic tool to help you keep track of things that are currently happening. It’s basic information, that’s helps you navigate the crazy amount of information that happens in Congress every day. Keeps track of every vote for every representative, every event, every day. What it isn’t, is a full information app that gives you every little detail of everything. If you see something you are interested in, you have to do some of your own research to get down to the nitty gritty. But what it does do is give a brief blurb on what each bill or vote or committees, happened or is about. If you want more information, you have to research that yourself, which you should be doing anyway. This just let’s you navigate it/guide you eaiser.

A very resourceful, organized, and easy to use application that does a great job at making it more feasible for busy Americans to get connected with their Government and remain up to date on Legislation activity in Congress. I was more than pleased with the layout of the app and the simple, straightforward design that makes using it effectively very easy.

Great concept. A few features no longer work 🙁 and it hasn’t been updated in over a year. I would really like to see and update because we recently had an election and I would like to be kept up to date with goverment affairs

With life being crazy, I always struggle with keeping up with congress and my gov officials. I really like this app, it lists what’s in the house, and what everybody’s vote is towards, as well as updates if it passed and when. I’m still new to the app but I’m pleased so far. If I may make one suggestion, I’d like to give a thumbs up or down on Bill’s, laws, and rememberances; as I scroll through and learn about the bill, Kind of an unofficial polling.

Very informative, with all the bills , laws in flux and recently created. This is a very nice organizer and well thought out. I wish more folks would apply themselves to stay in touch with what happens in their goverment. This App was designed to help the end user pay attention. So if you are reading this and not paying attention. Pay attention, things can change for the better when you understand them for what they are and keep striving for “the bette!”. We all deserve better!

Overall a really informative app. It makes it really easy to track Congress people and bills, as well as what’s generally happening on the floor that day. The only problem I have, unless I’m missing something, is that it doesn’t seem to record any of the actual votes made even though there is a tab for it. It will say that the bill passed both house and Senate, but it won’t say who voted for/against.

Having trouble loading all the committee member names (shows error)… even after update. Still love though! 5 stars if we can get it fixed. @Bean hit the 3 dots to the top right of the bill introduced and you can select “official text” to read the entire bill straight from the website

Not a bad app it works as fast as our government does. Sometimes the given links for the discription of the bills dont contain any info. But that could be caused by a delay on their end getting them all in the system.
