Bullet Hell Monday Finale App Overview and Details

Bullet Hell Monday Finale is a bullet hell shooter game that’s great fun for beginners too. Avoid the bullets and shoot enemies. Upgrade your craft and aim to clear the Chapter Mode.

■ Chapter Mode
Various missions await you in each stage — from simple to challenging ones. Clearing missions like “Defeat 30 enemies!” unlocks a boss stage. Defeat the boss to proceed to the next chapter.

■ Strengthen your craft
There are many level up options to strengthen your craft: shot power, shot speed, bomb duration, and more. Upgrade your craft and blast through the stages.

■ Great for beginners
Stages start off easy and gradually get more and more intense. You have no obligation to clear the difficult missions. If you get stuck, try your hand at another mission.

■ Simple controls
Use swipe gestures to move and attack, and tap with your other hand to launch bombs. These are the only skills available to you when you first start.

As you progress through the game, you will gradually unlock new abilities.

■ Easy mode
In Chapter Mode, you select the difficulty before starting a stage. Selecting Easy makes enemy attacks less intense and makes it easier to beat the stage. If you get stuck on a stage, try selecting Easy.

Another great entry in the BHM series. While a lot of elements are recycled from prior games, there are new enemies and mechanics, as well as some graphical enhancements, to spice things up. Unlike a lot of games in the mobile space, this one really does reward skill. Best of all, there’s still no forced ads! I’m happy to spend a few dollars to support this type of developer.

Loved the original game and this one follows up nicely, but there seem to be a few issues around certain devices. First of all, it seems like game instructions are bound to screen cycles (refresh rate) rather than time. This means you can only play at 60hz or else everything just speeds up like crazy. I’ve also noticed that the game is somewhat unresponsive to input on some devices. This is noticeable when attempting to move around slowly at any point, making some situations quite frustrating.

Although it’s like it is reusing resources from its predecessors I will admit that this game has created a new way to experience a bullet hell game. This is a redefine progression system although not as addicting as it once was, but it’s very interesting with all the changes. Also it teaches the player with tips and such detail that it feels like a big tutorial while at the same time pushing the player to their limits. And as a summary this game is really punishing its genre forward with ideas.

As far as mobile shmup bullet hell shooters go, I’ve not found a better one yet. The one downside is that its tutorials don’t do a good job explaining some pretty key things, so until you figure those out, certain map objectives can seem pretty impossible. Most notable of those is bomb damage – it doesn’t do anything on its own, but it buffs your laser while the bomb is active and gives you I-frames for the duration. Game became a lot more enjoyable once I figured that out.

With the new Endless Mode, I’d say the game is finally complete and compares to the original BHM. To those picking it up, the learning curve can be intense and the grind for upgrading your ships can be a bit much, but the gameplay is very interesting and stunning. I’ve absolutely loved playing the original BHM, and this game is no different. The only other things I could ask for is a “Chill” endless mode with no leaderboard and slower difficulty progression, and a return of the challenge stages.

Wow! What a collosal achievement the BHM series is!!! To know that every aspect of these games were developed entirely by just one person is mind-blowing. You will have a hard time finding a mobile game that is this pretty, this well-designed, or that has such tight controls. I do have one significant piece of critical feedback for the dev, however. My one big problem with BHM is the music. I know that it too is original and took a great deal of effort, but it’s not my style. Have to mute it.

This is one of the best shooters on the app store and one of the best games on the app store Period. The game itself is gorgeous and the soundtrack is phenomenal. It’s compact simplistic challenging and addictive. That being said; I have one single nitpick and that is it isn’t difficult enough! Needs more levels and more challenging ones at that!

Overall a fantastic bullet hell shooter. Controls are pretty tight. Since it’s touch screen there are times you’ll eventually cover up the bottom of the screen on accident. This usually results in a death. Some parts where very small precise movements are needed as well can be an issue. 4/5 stars since it’s never frustrating and doesn’t feel like deaths are the game’s fault majority of the time. Ads are optional for generous rewards to help power up your ship.

This game is amazing, soundtrack I love, gameplay is smooth and plenty of challenges to boot. And most of the challenges in the mission aren’t your tun of the mill challenges too, like this one mission had me do a run without killing more than 2 enemies. And they all seem like challenges that help the player grow too, not to mention the levels a freaking crazy. You should at least try this game if you enjoy bullet hell games

Very addictive, and accessible to those new to shmups. Optional ads get you a decent amount of AP (this game’s exp. points), controls are simple but mechanics get more complex as it goes on. Excellent short tutorials. Plenty of level up options. Visuals are clean, and levels are uniquely varied. New ships are a little on the expensive side when buying with AP which encourages using real money. Definitely a game worth supporting at least a little though.
